- My husband, Jeff and I own a beautiful Samoyed named Chewy. Chewy is our baby. We got married November 4, 2000. Makes it easy to remember how long I've been married. :) Mom and Dad own Chewy's older brother, Brumus and my Uncle Mike and Aunt Sandy own their Mom, Ready. Samoyeds are wonderful dogs with lots of energy, love and devotion. I was Miss Wisconsin Rapids 1991 and placed in the top 10 at Miss Wisconsin and was also the preliminary talent winner. I was Miss Lynn County in Iowa, but gave up the crown due to not having enough time to devote to the Pageant. I was a music major at the time, with an emphasis in piano performance, so I was in the practice room for 5-6 hours a day, was taking 18 credits and working. NO TIME!!! I suffered a massive stroke on December 7, 1993 due to a migraine when I was 20. My brain is still fuzzy and my memory is terrible as a result, but I function.
